About
This is a blog that I truly feel is God Inspired. I have been a Christian for 3 1/2 years and I have always felt an urge to read through the Bible but I never felt led by the Lord to do so. I was too eager maybe to check it off my list? to feel like I knew it all!
However, I now know that with the the Lord I am ready to do this. He has given me a wonderful foundation of Himself, and I know that this is another way for me to know Him better. This Blog will start on January 1, however I encourage ANYONE feeling led to join in at ANY point to do so.
this is great.. I’m curious as to who posting this…
Will leaving this reply add me to this group, or do I have to sign up somewhere. I do SO want to do this and I want to share this with some others.
Yes, that is all you have to do is reply. I hope you do share this with others. God can so use this vehicle to teach us all!
Thank you so much for sending this to me. Ironically I’ve had this on my heart as well over the last few weeks. Isn’t God good!! I’ve started (and stopped) reading this little “One Year Through the Bible” devotional many times over the years and just picked it up again last week. Wow….and then this. I can’t wait to start in January!!!
Pat, please sign me up to join the group to read thru the Bible next year. I am a member of Long Hollow Baptist Church and in small group with Tedi Cromer. Thanks and God Bless! Looking forward to sharing with everyone in the group.

Hi, I would like the daily emails and would like
to read the Bible in 2009-only 80 hours, I think
it will take me longer than that.
Sandra
I’m in….I have read the bible through hopefully 3 times by Dec 31. It has enriched my life!
It will be exciting to share this with others.
I am out of town 2-3 days a week, but I will catch up when I am back in town. Will this work?
Hope so,
Helen Freels
Would love to join in! Thanks for the email invite
Please count me in!
Count me in.
Count me in if you have not already?
To all who desire to read all of God’s word I would suggest that you set a time to meet with the Lord. In Revelation 3:20-21 we hear Jesus requesting a time to fellowship with us.I have found the best time is first thing in the morning.Matt 6:33; Psalms 63:1
Job treasured the word of God “…More than my necessary food” Job 23:12
When you go out of town on business or on vacation take your Bible with you. Jesus will have breakfast with you there. He promises to never leave us.

Is this THE Mary Dodson of Park Avenue Baptist Church? Awesome woman of God and my sweet friend?

I just wanted to say again how much I appreciate this. I’m always on my computer and now that I have set this to my homepage and I have committed to doing nothing else before I get my time with God in. Yesterday we were looking for movie times to take our kids to see Bolt and my husband and I turned to the computer and since it was the first time of the day, I asked my husband to give me some time to read before we looked them up. If I was just trying to do this with my bible I wouldn’t have this reminder. Thanks!
Angie, we are sharing the same passion. Only God can make us this hungry for His word. If you don’t have a desire, a hunger…pray for it! It is His will, so it will happen.
Please add me….
I had gotten my son a chronological bible and was contemplating reading it thru. I am looking forward to this! Thank you!
I am Amanda O’s sister-in-law. I am so excited about this. I can’t wait to see what I learned.
I am a member of Long Hollow also…and I just found this. I want in…and I will catch up! I am so excited. This is a great site. Thanks
I know Im way behind but could you please put me on your e-mail list! Thanks
