What is the New Testament?

The Old Testament is essentially written about the nation of Israel. However, we as Gentiles are completely threaded and graphed into every book of the Old Testament (OT).  But the New Testament (NT) or New Covenant is not just for the nation of Israel but for all nations and people through the life, death and resurrection of the Messiah Jesus.

The New Testament is 27 Books (or letters).  The first 4 Books (Matthew Mark Luke and John) is called the Gospel.  Each book written for a different purpose and a different audience.  After the Gospel the autor Luke will continue his story into the Acts wich will explain how Jesus’ followers spread the News of Jesus.  Then come the “letters” known as the Epistles.  Thirteen of the Epistles were written by Paul who was NOT one of Twelve Disciples.

Finally we will read Revelations, which stands in a class of its own, an apocalyptic book.  The Final days, the End Times, the Triumph!
